Never really had any issues with my previous lenses but I decided to give these a go based on a friends recommendation. I've been pleasantly surprised as they feel really refreshing and comfortable on my eye. With lenses sometimes you can become very reluctant to change but i'm glad i did.
Sometimes move around when i'm at the gym/doing sport but to be fair I can't have many complaints. Really good and reliable lens.
I am considering acuvue trueye for dry eyes, and I wonder if you can tell me if these are the best?
Hi Claire, Acuvue Trueye with Hydraclear technology are some of the best lenses for dry eyes. They have an exceptionally high level of oxygen permeability, helping them stay moist and comfortable.
Hello, I am trying to place an order with BC 8.8, but I see Trueye BC 9.0 only. Is it possible to change this, or can I wear lenses with BC 9.0?
Dear Sean, the Acuvue TruEye base curve is manufactured in 2 standard measurements, 8.50 and 9.00. If you require 8.80, then the 9.00 BC should be appropriate for you. If you have any questions or concerns, though, we do recommend a quick ring to your optician just to be sure.
I would like to compare Acuvue Trueye vs Moist. Is there much difference between the lenses? The prices are quite different, so I'd like to know if the Trueye are significantly better.
Hi Maeve, Thanks for your query. The main difference between Acuvue TruEye and Acuvue Moist is their materials. Acuvue Moist are hydrogel lenses, and Acuvue TruEye are made from silicone hydrogel. Both lenses are enriched with special technology to increase hydration.
Best price I've seen online for these lenses. The prices charged by my optician for the same lenses was outrageous. Very pleased to have discovered Alensa.
