1 Day Acuvue TruEye Daily Disposable Contact Lenses

1 Day Acuvue TruEye are produced by Johnson and Johnson and are the world’s first silicone-hydrogel, daily disposable lenses. The lenses are equipped with the brand's patented Hydraclear® moisturising technology, UV filters, and convenient inside-out indicators. They are made from a narafilcon material that provides high oxygen permeability. This package contains 30 lenses.

We also offer a larger package of 90 1 Day Acuvue TruEye lenses at a bargain price.

Hydraclear® technology

With Hydraclear® technology, a moisturising ingredient is added directly to the lens material during production, embedding it throughout the lens, rather than adding it after the production process. The lens surface remains smooth and soft, and the eyes stay naturally moist and comfortable all day.

UV protection and inside-out mark

1 Day Acuvue TruEye contact lenses feature UV filters, which provide the wearer partial UVA and UVB protection. The inside-out mark makes handling easy.

Note: The manufacturer recommends upgrading to 1 Day Acuvue TruEye from previous versions of Acuvue daily lenses (1 Day Acuvue and 1 Day Acuvue Moist) if the wearer‘s parameters for the lens curve (BC) and diameter (DIA) are unchanged. Consult your optician for more information.

Do you have any questions?
Julie Glover

Never really had any issues with my previous lenses but I decided to give these a go based on a friends recommendation. I've been pleasantly surprised as they feel really refreshing and comfortable on my eye. With lenses sometimes you can become very reluctant to change but i'm glad i did.

Martin Wolf

Sometimes move around when i'm at the gym/doing sport but to be fair I can't have many complaints. Really good and reliable lens.

Claire Wright

I am considering acuvue trueye for dry eyes, and I wonder if you can tell me if these are the best?

Answer info@alensa.ie

Hi Claire, Acuvue Trueye with Hydraclear technology are some of the best lenses for dry eyes. They have an exceptionally high level of oxygen permeability, helping them stay moist and comfortable.

Sean P.

Hello, I am trying to place an order with BC 8.8, but I see Trueye BC 9.0 only. Is it possible to change this, or can I wear lenses with BC 9.0?

Answer info@alensa.ie

Dear Sean, the Acuvue TruEye base curve is manufactured in 2 standard measurements, 8.50 and 9.00. If you require 8.80, then the 9.00 BC should be appropriate for you. If you have any questions or concerns, though, we do recommend a quick ring to your optician just to be sure.

Maeve

I would like to compare Acuvue Trueye vs Moist. Is there much difference between the lenses? The prices are quite different, so I'd like to know if the Trueye are significantly better.

Answer info@alensa.ie

Hi Maeve, Thanks for your query. The main difference between Acuvue TruEye and Acuvue Moist is their materials. Acuvue Moist are hydrogel lenses, and Acuvue TruEye are made from silicone hydrogel. Both lenses are enriched with special technology to increase hydration.

Jon

Best price I've seen online for these lenses. The prices charged by my optician for the same lenses was outrageous. Very pleased to have discovered Alensa.
