Coloured lenses with correction
Dioptric lenses are lenses that have
a power and are intended to correct your vision. Corrective lenses are typically
prescribed by an ophthalmologist or an optometrist. The prescription consists of
all the specifications necessary to make the lens. Prescriptions typically
include the power specifications of each lens (for each eye). When ordering
dioptric lenses, you will need to know your prescribed parameters.
How to Take Care of Monthly Coloured Contact Lenses
Monthly coloured
contact lenses require special care. If you look after your lenses properly, you
can use them for an entire month.
Let's start with the most important
rule:
Never use peroxide solutions on coloured lenses,
as they may damage the colour effect. When caring for coloured lenses,
use only multi-purpose solutions.
When you purchase
monthly lenses, they are ready for their first use straight away. After opening
the blister pack, the lenses can be placed directly onto your eyes. The
countdown for lens care begins after the first wear.
Once you remove a
lens from your eye, place it in your palm and apply a multi-purpose solution.
Then, using the fingertip of your other hand, gently rub the lens for about 10
seconds. Rinse the mechanically cleaned lens with a fresh dose of solution and
store it in a case filled with fresh solution. Repeat the process for the other
lens. Never sleep with your lenses!
Lenses can be stored
in a case for up to 7 days; after this period, the cleaning process must be
repeated. In simple terms, you must provide regular care through mechanical
cleaning and storage in fresh solution. For contact lenses with a 30-day
replacement period, we also recommend changing the lens case
regularly—ideally with every new bottle of solution.
Disclaimer: Instructions for different multi-purpose solutions
may vary. Always follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for your specific
solution.
