HYLO DUAL INTENSE eye drops
These eye drops cannot be used
while wearing contact lenses.
These eye drops by URSAPHARM are
designed for those suffering from chronically dry eyes or
irritation caused by allergies, among others. HYLO DUAL INTENSE
drops soothe inflammation with intense moisturisation. These drops do not
contain any preservatives or phosphates but cannot be used with contact
lenses due to their high viscosity.
The active ingredients of
HYLO DUAL INTENSE drops
Their unique combination of hyaluronic acid and
ectoine provides intensive moisturisation and
stabilises the tear film.
Hyaluronic
acid is an effective lubricant and these drops contain a particularly
high concentration of it (0.20%). Hyaluronic acid already occurs naturally in
the human body, so it’s extremely tolerable. It has a high water-binding
capacity, which means that it can adhere to the surface of tissues for a long
time. This results in intensive eye wetting.
Ectoin is
a substance produced by microorganisms that live in extreme conditions (such as
salt lakes). It too has outstanding water-binding properties. Ectoin helps to
form an intensive moisture barrier on the surface of the eyes. It also
stabilises the fatty phase of the tear film, which protects the eye from
excessive tear evaporation.
An innovative dosage system
HYLO
DUAL INTENSE eye drops feature the unique COMOD® dosage system
(COntinuous MOnoDose-System). The liquid on the inside is packed in a flexible,
airtight sachet and at no point comes into contact with the surrounding air. As
a result, the contents remain sterile – all without preservatives or
phosphates..
In addition, the COMOD® system also makes it
possible to dispense exactly one drop per pump stroke. Every time it is used,
the drop dispensed is the same size so that a constant, reliable effect is
produced.
How to use these drops
These drops can be used for
an extended period of time. In that case, however, it is advised to first
consult your eye care specialist or doctor.
Adults and children over the
age of 6 can apply 1 drop in each eye, 3 times a day. Dosage
can be increased if needed.
Pregnant women and children under the age of
10 can’t use these drops more than 10 times a day.
It’s not
possible to use these drops with contact lenses.
This product
can be used for 6 months after opening.
