Sight is one of our most important senses, but sometimes our busy lifestyles can lead to lax lens care. With the right solution and proper lens maintenance, you can help prevent vision problems and discomfort.
We offer two types of contact lens solutions that may be right for you.
Multipurpose solution is intended for cleaning, rinsing, disinfecting, and storing all types of soft contact lenses. With multipurpose solutions, no other lens care products are necessary. We're proud to offer a wide variety of multipurpose solutions, including Opti-Free, Laim-Care, and others.
Hydrogen peroxide solution is also used for cleaning, disinfecting, and storing your contact lenses. Peroxide cleaning solutions rely on a chemical reaction between the peroxide and a neutralising agent. The lenses must be stored in this solution for a minimum of six hours while the chemical reaction is completed. On Alensa.ie, you can find AO Sept, one of the industry's best-known hydrogen peroxide solutions.
Never allow the peroxide to come into contact with your eye, and always ensure that the reaction is complete and the lenses have been rinsed with saline solution before inserting.
